LOVE'S BLOSSOM by Monea McClain
Rooted in fertile soil is you and I,
together we hold each other in love's
embrace,reaching toward the sunlight,
strong yet fragile, beautifully green,
magnificently enchanting, my heart beats
in your hands, your soul in mine,
We burst forth through the dark soil,
as one bulb, deeply crimson, dew drops
appear silver upon us, against the glaring brightness
of a new day, a new way,
You and Me, us,one,
Love so free, We are part of the wildflowers
in a field, Unmatched,
As our petals bow to absorb the morning rays,
we hold hands, arms outstretched,
New,
fragrant,
stunning,
colorful,
and breath taking,
Our love is like that of the oak tree,
standing strong and tall, braving
the winds of time, circumstance and mayhem,
our little one is covered by the shade we make
as one, nurturers, non stop teachers, we are
intentional givers,
We bow, but do not break,
Constant,
Giving,
Flowing,
fulfilled by one another,
We are Love's blossom, Love's cry,
together we are immaculately how true LOVE
should be perceived,
I care for you,you care for me,
I love you, you love me,
We are a confirmation for the world to see,
Love's Blossom
